Vinay Vas who plays at Plano Performance Tennis reached the semi final of the Boys 10 singles in the November Arlington ZAT. Vinay lost to the #2 seeded Anthony Nguyen from Plano, TX 8-6.

Sam Conwill reaches final!

Sam Conwill who trains at Plano Performance Tennis reached the final of Boys 16 singles in the November Arlington ZAT this past weekend. Sam was seeded #6 in the draw and defeated the #4 seeded Yatish Nerur from Arlington 7-5, 6-2 and the #2 seeded Keagan Angevin of Euless, TX 6-1, 6-4 on his way to the final. Sam played a really close match against the strong #1 seed from Rowlett, TX, Caden Lott in the final.  Caden won the 1st set 6-2 and Sam fought back to even the match by winning the second set 6-4. In the 10 point tiebreaker Sam lost 7-10.

Rishi Vas champs up!

Rishi Vas who trains at Plano Performance Tennis reached the final of Boys 12 singles in the November Arlington ZAT to champ up! On his way to the final he beat the #5 seeded Ali Khambati 6-0, 6-2 and the #7 seeded Alexander Leung 6-2, 6-4. In the final Rishi lost a close 5-7, 4-6 to Caleb Cox from Lubbock, TX.

Hannah Coursey reaches Consolation Finals!

Hannah Coursey who plays at Plano Performance Tennis reached the Girls 12 Consolation Finals in the November ZAT at Tyler, TX. She won the first set in the consolation finals and started cramping in the hamstring area. She tried to continue playing but had to Retire due to injury in the second set. Both girls showed remarkable sportsmanship. Good tournament Hannah!
